  1. shots, you could assemble a whole production on the disk.  Since the
  2. access time is almost nothing, having 2 heads makes for perfect cuts,
  3. regardless of where on the disk the scenes you want are.  For animating,
  4. it means you could render diff scenes onto the disk, and have it play
  5. back the whole anim in any order.  Heck, if you have a loop, the laser
  6. disk itself could loop over the scene as many times as wanted, and you
  7. would only have to single frame it once.
